Chapter one: Fire In His Eyes

A Large, Black Rapidash was softly grazing near a sign that said 'Fire Haven : A Place For All Fire Types. Exactly 6,909 Fire pokemon. Everyone Welcome'.
A boy wearing a red vest over a blue shirt with blue jeans , red shoes and a Pokemon league winner's cap sighed and went over to the black rapidash, taking his reins off the horse.
It simply laid down and laid on it's side, allowing the boy to rub his side for a few.
"Hey loser!" A boy, about 16 yelled out to the boy, spooking many Ponyta andRapidash.
The boy at the ranch looked over at the culprit.
"Will! Don't yell, Damn it!" The boy told will Will, who jumped over the fence post.
"Or what Rallie?"
"Shut the hell up! And it's Ralhigh!"
"Sure Rallie! See ya looser!"
"Damn it.......Come on Blaze!" Ralhigh yelled over to the Black Rapidash.
The horse ran over fast, graciously taking the gold reins.
The boy jumped up on th horse, bareback.
" Now get your mares FireBlaze!" Ralhigh yelled as his horse dashed off quickly, barly being seen, only by it's blaze.
4 hours later...........
"Night, Blaze, Fawn, Butter, Night,Pyro, DayBreak, MoonShine. See ya in the morning!" Ralhigh yelled softly to them, shutting the barn doors.
It had taken 4 hours to round up all those mares. It was about 8 pm and Ralhigh was going to go and check on the Pregnant Mares, which by now 3 were over due by a week.
His favorite out of them was StarLight, because she was the most toughest mare he'd seen. Never had he been able to ride her.
Will tried before, resulting in a broken arm for Will and a tear in Ralhigh's left leg muscles, because the horse had torn his leg open with her hooves.
Yes, and she was Gold in color.
After seeing threw all the horses, Ralhigh hit the sack, not bothering to eat. In fact he skipped all his meals usually.
Ralhigh knew that the National Pokemon Race was coming up after tomorrow.
He would ride Blaze, not a damn jocky..............................
They used whips...............
He would never...........................
He saw pokemon die on the tracks before...................
Though they had little trust in their pokemon.............................
He put all his trust, his life, his heart into blaze, knowing that they would win........................
He loved the feeling of racing..........................
He fell asleep with a smile that night................
In the Morning Ralhigh did his rounds, a let all the Horses out for the time being.
He mounted Blaze and took off to go to Birch's lab.
Ralhigh rode bareback, only reins.
"Hey, Ralis!" Birch yelled over to Ralhigh.
Ralhigh pulled up on Blaze's reins and the horse stopped dead it his tracks.
"Hey, Birch. Any news?"
"Nope, but we are getting a guest in town"
"Who?"
"Ash Ketchum"
"I'm not interested, Birch"
"Why?!"
"I don't like people who keep Pokemon locked up in balls. You know that. That is why i created the Gather ball"
"I know, but he is quite wise"
"In Sam Hell he is! If he was wise he would-"
"Be like you? Be afraid of people?"
"Bye" Ralhigh said as he sped off.
"Ralis, when are you going to going to learn to not let fear hold you back?"
"Prof. Birch!" Ash yelled as he ran up to him.
"Who were you talking to? Whoa.................." Ash said as he saw the size of the 'Fire Haven'.
"I was talking to Ralhigh, the owner of that ranch. A fine young boy, exept he's afraid of people.........."
"How?"
"Ral's parent's died when he was 5, a month after he got FireBlaze"
"The 13 time champ FireBlaze?"
"Yes. Ral, he isn't as cold hearted as some think. He made the Gather Ball, a poke ball that doesn't catch the Pokemon, nor does harm to it. He hates people who uses regular balls. His only friends are the Pokemon of the forest and the ranch"
"Wow. Does anyone know him other than you?"
"May and Brendan do, but Ral doesn't need any friends as he says"
"Well, where is he?"
"He went to go train FireBlaze for the race, which is tomorrow"
"well, I think I'll be attending the race then"
"You'll need a Rapidash then, but you'll be lucky if he let's you rent one of his star horses"
Ash and birch go over to the ranch, but then a loud neigh and gallop of a certain Black Rapidash with his owner, very pissed.
"Birch! You bastard! you were going to give him Fawn weren't you?!"
"Well, yes but only for rent"
"No. If i have never let you use Her, what makes you think he can?"
"Ral! Learn to trust!"
"No! And for you,"Ral said as he got off Blaze and limped up to Ash,"If you come 40 ft toward this ranch, you will be dead"
Ash gulped as he saw the seriousness in Raleigh's Emereld eyes.
Ash had only seen those eyes once before.
"Is your father Lance?"
Ash got one hell of a hard punch right in the jaw.
"No. Not in my mind. My parents are dead. Never bring this up again"
"pikaaaa! PikaCHU!"Pikachu said as it sent out a thunder attack at Ral.
"Neiiigh!!!!!!!!" Blaze reared and ran, jumping, causing the bolt to hit his horn.
'Perfect' Ral thought as he yelled out,"Bolt Fire At Pikachu!"
The horse then ran off, then jumping off a small cliff, neighing as it sent out a strong volt of 1,000 volts at pikachu, the a massive fire attack, finishing off with a disable, to make sure the mouse couldn't get away........
Then Ralhigh realized that with such a strong attack, it would kill the electric mouse for sure......
Ralhigh ran in front of Pikachu and the next thing was a blurr to him as he was hit by his own Pokemon's attack................
Ash and Birch watched in horror as Ralhigh, took all of his Pokemon's attack..................
The attack nearly killed him.......................................
